Pensacola Beach fishing guide
Pensacola Beach sits on Santa Rosa Island, so you can fish the Gulf surf and the Santa Rosa Sound side in the same morning without crossing the Pensacola Bay bridges. Unlike the Pensacola guide, which leans on the bay, bayous and Escambia River marsh, this one is about the island: the 1,470 foot Pensacola Beach Gulf Pier for kings, Spanish, cobia and pompano, slot reds between the sandbars, and the Fort Pickens pier and Pensacola Pass jetties at the west end. Charter boats leave right from the island for the bay, the beaches and reefs 15 to 30 miles out.
