Size Guide
These run large. If you are normally an XL, order a Large. This is the single biggest cause of exchanges, so it is worth reading twice.
Performance shirts and hoodies
Measurements are in inches, taken with the garment laid flat and the chest doubled. Allow half an inch either way, which is normal tolerance on a knit.
| Size | Chest | Body length | Sleeve |
|---|---|---|---|
| Medium | 42 | 28.5 | 34.5 |
| Large | 46 | 29.5 | 35.5 |
| XL | 50 | 30.5 | 36.5 |
| 2XL | 54 | 31.5 | 37.5 |
| 3XL | 58 | 32.5 | 38.5 |
The cut is a relaxed fishing fit rather than an athletic one, which is where the runs-large reputation comes from. If you want it closer to the body, size down. If you want maximum airflow and coverage for a full day in the sun, stay where you are.
How to measure
- Chest. Measure around the fullest part, under the arms, keeping the tape level.
- Body length. From the highest point of the shoulder straight down to the hem.
- Sleeve. From the centre back of the neck, across the shoulder, down to the cuff.
The easiest check is to measure a shirt you already own and like the fit of, then compare it to the table rather than measuring yourself.
Hats and gloves
The Wavy Fishing Gloves are one size, fingerless, with reinforced pull tabs, and the stretch panel across the back of the hand covers most adult hands comfortably.
Hats are one size with a snapback closure, so you set the fit once and it holds through a run. The rope sits at the front seam and keeps the brim from folding once it has been wet.
Between sizes, or fishing in the heat all day? Size down for a closer fit, or stay put for more airflow and coverage. Ask us if you want a second opinion.
